Neurodivergent communication
Recognising different communication styles, reducing assumptions and creating safer ways for people to engage.
Practical, relationship-led and neurodiversity-informed learning for professionals and organisations, with a dedicated parent and carer learning space coming soon.

Our training begins with the situations your team is actually facing. We take time to understand your setting, the people you support and what you would like participants to take away.
Moving MindSpace brings together SEND advocacy, neurodiversity-informed practice, therapeutic insight, custodial inclusion experience and lived experience as parents and carers. The focus is always on understanding the person behind the behaviour and identifying realistic changes that can strengthen everyday practice.
Training and professional-development enquiries may come from:
Every enquiry is considered individually so the content, facilitator and format can be matched appropriately.
Recognising different communication styles, reducing assumptions and creating safer ways for people to engage.
Understanding how sensory experiences and regulation needs can affect participation, communication and behaviour.
Looking beyond apparent refusal or disengagement and considering what may be making participation difficult.
Building trust with young people who find demands difficult.
Working respectfully with families and considering the situations they are facing.
Considering reasonable adjustments and inclusive practice in everyday interactions.
Topics are agreed in advance to match the audience and facilitators’ expertise.
Rather than relying only on theory, sessions can use discussion, realistic scenarios and reflection on day-to-day practice. We aim to help participants leave with ideas they can adapt within their own roles, responsibilities and safeguarding procedures.
Tell us who the training is for, the challenges your organisation wants to address, your preferred format and the outcomes you hope to work towards.
The format may be an individual session, workshop or tailored programme, subject to the needs of the organisation and facilitator availability. Topics are agreed in advance to match the audience and facilitators’ expertise.
We agree scope, delivery method and fees before any booking is confirmed. We match the proposed training to the appropriate person or team and clarify who will deliver it before an agreement is made.
Professional and organisational training is available for enquiries now.
We are developing a secure online area for parents and carers who want accessible, neurodiversity-informed learning they can explore in their own time.
The space will bring together practical learning, recorded content and useful resources shaped by professional knowledge and lived experience. It will be designed to help parents and carers feel better informed and supported without expecting them to have everything worked out already.
Topics and access arrangements are still being developed. The Parent and Carer Learning Space is not yet open and cannot currently be booked.
Registering interest does not create a booking or require payment.
